Sir Douglas Copland Lecture at the AEF Dinner Minimize

Professor Joseph StiglitzThe Economic Society of Australia (NSW Branch) and CEDA are delighted to partner to present the Copland Lecture at the Australian Economic Forum Dinner on 5th August. Our presenter for the evening is Nobel prize winning economist, Professor Joseph E Stiglitz.

Professor Stiglitz is touring Australia as the inaugural speaker of the Economic Society of Australia Eminent Speaker Series.

In honour of its founder, Sir Douglas Copland, and to commemorate its 50 years, CEDA is reinstituting the Sir Douglas Copland Lecture. Sir Douglas made significant contributions to Australian economic life and is one of our best-known economists. He went on to become the founding Vice Chancellor of the Australian National University (ANU).

Professor Stiglitz will deliver the 2010 Sir Douglas Copland Lecture. He will address the most significant challenge facing the world at present - rethinking financial and economic governance in light of the global financial crisis. This is clearly a subject with long term implications for business and economic conditions in Australia.

Don't miss this opportunity to attend and engage with Professor Stiglitz.

DRESS CODE is business.
